To cool down my RaspPi with Octoprint I use this Heatsink + Fan. Works fine so far, but after a half year the fan got louder then the rest of the whole printer environment. From another not finished project I had the 40x40 Noctua Fan on my side which I wanted to install. Here is the necessary adapter.

Maybe working also on other Heatsinks, because RaspPi holes are used for installation.

BOM:

  • Printed Adapter (I used PETG)
  • 4x countersunk-head screws, M3 x 16 mm
  • 4x Nuts M3
  • 3x Screws of the old fan which are a little longer than the screws which are originally needed to fix the Heatsink on the PI.
