This remix of this nice Big Einsy Case is optimized with Plug & Play for Maintenance. My idea was to get the printer quick out of my enclosure, which was a little hassle until these successful upgrade, because the Power Supplier and LCD are removed from the printer and they are outside of the enclosure.

ATTENTION!!!
!!! if you have an external LCD or want to install it outside, make sure the Ribbon is shorten then 0,5 m. From my experience I can tell, that if the cable is longer then 0,5 m the LCD will not work, because of the SPI-Communication Protocol. The SPI required short ways and fast feedbacks, because it is created for communication on PCBs. !!!
!!! Make sure the device is unplugged when doing this work!!!
!!! Make sure when you cut the cable and or building new cable that you have an eye on the connection directions of the connectors !!!
P1 Cable inside case
length of Ribbon Cable about 13-15 cm,
Power Panic cable, cut it to about 10 cm from Einsy Connection side
right side, IDC connector, 10-pole
left side, D-Sub connector, 15-pole
connect the Ribbon Cable to the right side and the Power Panic Cable to the left of the connector. (I first connected the Ribbon Cable and closed the connector to fix the Ribbon Cable. After this I reopened the connector again and inserted the Power Panic Cable)
P2 Cable inside case
length of Ribbon Cable about 13-15 cm
right side, IDC connector, 10-pole
left side, D-Sub connector, 15-pole
connect the Ribbon Cable to the right side
Power Supply Cable inside case
Lenghts of power supply cable 6-8 cm, 2x
solder the wire on the RC-Power Plug and cover it with heat shrink tube.
if needed press the cable lugs on the cable.
MMU Cable (I'm sorry, I forgot a to make a good picture of both ends)
Hold the Einsy Case in place on the printer and mark the length of the MMU Cable where the cable reach the opening on the top. Make sure that the cables are not stretched but loosely reach the case.
Solder each cable on the male and female connector. Make sure after you finished soldering the first connector that all connections are working.
Solder the second connector and make sure the right cable are meeting.
My soldering overview. I also covered the cable with on heat shrink tube.
Cable from Power Supply and LCD
basically repeat the first cable steps to build the other side of the connection and make sure that you use the counterpart of the connector and connecting the cables the right way.
