Smart Pet Gadgets with Arduino
The contest runs from February 27 to April 27, 2025 Challenge Ever looked at your pet and thought, "You deserve something awesome"? Well, now’s your chance to fix that! Design a tech-powered gadget for your furry (or non-furry) friend using Arduino and 3D printing. Think automated playmates, high-tech trackers, smart aquariums, or remote-controlled feeders. Whether it’s a self-fetching ball launcher, a next-level scratching post, or a fish tank that runs itself—you know what your pet needs. Never used Arduino before? No worries! Arduino is a small, programmable board that can control lights, motors, or sensors, and it’s the perfect way to add some tech magic to your project. Coffee Corner
Calling all coffee lovers and serial espresso drinkers! Design a 3D-printable accessory or tool that makes your coffee corner even better. Whether you're brewing with an espresso machine, a capsule coffee maker, or hand-brewing every cup with precision, we want to see your best ideas. Maybe your espresso prep area needs an upgrade—a tamping station, a sturdy knock box, or a better way to keep barista tools in order. If some tiny plastic part on your machine inevitably broke, why not design a replacement? Basically, if it enhances, organizes, or improves the coffee experience without touching actual food or liquid you will be consuming, it’s a valid entry. Just remember one important rule: no food-contact parts (3D-printed filters, portafilters, or anything that touches hot liquids directly are a no-go).
