This two-piece stand design is custom made for the Yamaha SEQtrak and Arturia Minilab 3, so that the SEQtrak is firmly held at a comfortable angle and slightly above the Minilab. The stand works on a table or on the Samson LTS50 Laptop Stand, as there is a feature in the back to grap the rear lip of the Samson stand.

A key feature is that the Yamaha SEQtrak is held and supported firmly, so there is no wobble or play. The side buttons can be pressed, for example, and the unit will not slide or move. The SEQtrak lightly ‘snaps’ into the stand, and the stand pieces slip on and lock over the rear left and right feet of the Minilab, so everything is held together essentially as one unit.

There is also clearance for the USB connection, so a standard USB-C cable can be used without an issue. This is especially convenient when powering/connecting MIDI between the SEQtrak and the Minilab with USB-C.

There are pockets on the bottom of the stand pieces for 8mm magnets to be friction fit in place, and these let the stand hold more firmly to metal surfaces like the Samson laptop stand. They also make it handy for the stand pieces to stick together for travel (so long as you orient the poles of the magnets correctly when installing them).

Althought the clearance pocket for the USB connector is only needed on the left side, I simply mirrored the piece for the right side so that it looked symmetrical. I used black Hatchbox PETG for its slight flexibility and heat resistance compared to PLA, and they print on their side on the build platform with only minimal support needed for the upper inside surfaces of the magnet pockets and main hole as shown:

Enjoy!
