Description

PDF

This model is primarily designed for Bambu Lab's reusable 1kg spool. However, most 1kg spools from other manufacturers with a rough diameter of 20cm will also fit. The width of a spools wall shouldn't be greater than 3mm. Please read the PRINT INSTRUCTIONS at the bottom.

ELEGANT SPOOL HOLDER WITHOUT A CATCH (KINDA)

This spool holder not only looks good, but also uses less than 30g of filament thanks to its elegant design.

A single print is all it takes to hang one spool, completely eliminating the hassle of measuring spool widths, printing multiple files or wasting space on your pegboard.
Especially the Bambu Lab spools hang so close together on the SKÅDIS pegboard, that not a centimetre of space is lost.
Despite its low weight, this spool holder can easily hold a 1kg spool, even when printed in PLA.

Print slide-in-labels from a selection of more than 30 materials to never lose track of your filaments again. Designed to perform a filament change during printing. (Only for LC-marked models)

IT'S ABOUT THE LITTLE THINGS

  • LESS WEIGHT uses less than 30g of filament per print, less than alternatives
  • ELEGANT DESIGN you can choose honeycomb pattern or plain style
  • LABELS different slide-in-labels to recognize materials more quickly (including a blank)
  • STRONG holds up to 1kg spools, even when printed in PLA
  • SPACEWASTE no space wasted on the SKÅDIS pegboard
  • MODELS different models simplify mounting at all locations on the pegboard

PEGBOARDS

EXPLAIN THESE FILES TO ME

There are various models available to ensure that the spool holders are held in place at every imaginable location on the pegboard.

The models are labelled with the initials TMB and some with LC.
These initials indicate the existing retaining tabs on each model.

  • Spoolholder TMB indicates that all retaining tabs are present
    • Can be attached anywhere except in the furthest corners
  • Spoolholder TM indicates that only the top and middle retaining tabs are present
    • Can be attached to the top right corner and the bottom left corner
  • Spoolholder MB indicates that only the middle and bottom retaining tabs are present
    • Can be attached to the top left corner and the bottom right corner
  • Spoolholder TB indicates that only the top and bottom retaining tabs are present
    • Can be attached to the far right side of the pegboard
  • * - LC stands for LABEL CUTOUT
    • marks spool holders with a cutout for slide-in-labels

Please note that the spool holders with 2 retaining tabs (TM, MB, TB) are not as secure and stable as the spool holders with 3 retaining tabs (TMB).

The TB models can become partially unstable and insecure due to their parallel arranged retaining tabs.

PRINT INSTRUCTIONS

  • Print however you like, use PLA if you want to. Make sure you choose a strong infill. I recommend 8% Gyroid.
  • The Honeycomb pattern doesn't need supports.
  • Try to print as many slide-in-labels as possible at once so that the standing bar has enough time to cool down and does not deform during the print.
  • Consider support blockers for the HONEYCOMB-models, to prevent auto generated supports.
  • Supports on the retaining tabs are mandatory. Please see the images below.
