**MUST USE => 3-inch construction screws to ensure proper holding strength in stud**

I stumbled upon a solution to a filament storage headache in my home office, and I thought it might be worth sharing with the community. You know how it is – constantly battling with clutter and trying to make the most of the limited space.

So, here's the deal with my 3D Printing Filament Wall-Mounted Storage System. It's not some fancy product; it's just a practical way I found to organize my workspace better. The minimalist design keeps things simple and doesn't overpower the room – I'm all about functionality over frills.

The real game-changer here is the wall-mounting setup. I've strategically placed the brackets on top of studs for some serious holding power. No more worries about spools taking a nosedive in the middle of a print – been there, done that.

And because our filament collections tend to grow faster than we expect, the system is modular. You can print and attach more hanging sections as needed. It's adaptable, customizable, and, honestly, a relief for someone like me who can't predict how many spools I'll accumulate in a month.

For the support structure, I'm using 5/8 inch wooden dowel rods. Sturdy, reliable, and easy to find. Plus, if you're like me and have concerns about the weight, you can add a bottom bracket for that extra support – no harm in playing it safe.

Material-wise, I'm working with PETG, and it's holding up like a champ. I've got about 30+ 1kg spools across five shelves, and it's smooth sailing. But, of course, your mileage may vary depending on the material you're using.

The best part? Installation is a breeze. As few screw holes as possible, making it a painless process. Because, let's be real, who wants to spend hours setting up storage when there are prints to run?

So, if you've been wrestling with filament storage in your home office like I was, maybe give this DIY solution a shot. It's not a groundbreaking invention, just a practical approach to making our 3D printing spaces a bit more organized. Hope it helps someone out there in the community! Happy printing, friends.
