I have a lot of aqua-based TwinMarkers from DecoTime I purchased a while ago at a local budget store called ACTION.
Recently, I added alcohol based TwinMarkers from the same brand, I got from a different budget store. However, these were packaged using a container with a simple coverlid.
As you probably know, you should store TwinMarkers horizontally, so that the tips don't dry out.
The Aqua-Markers came in stackable trays called “DecoTRAY”. They either hold up to ten TwinMarkers in one row or 30 TwinMarkers in 3 rows with 10 each. These trays have holes on the top and pins on the bottom so that they can be easily stacked.
I wanted something like this for my new alcohol-based TwinMarkers, so I designed a tray that is compatible with the original DecoTRAY.
However, I also didn't want to invest all too much material into one tray which is why I came up with the idea of saving a huge amount of material by adding a Voronoi pattern to the front and the back.
The result not only looks amazing, it really saves a lot of material.
I printed the thing standing on my build plate with not support material. My printer was capable of getting this done quite good.
I am looking forward to your prints!
