PC Engine Duo - HuCard slot cover (FDM, Reinforced)

The original model contained geometry way too fragile for FDM printing. After several (LOTS) of failed attempts I've come up with a version that is FDM printable and not terrible fragile.

You'll want to print it at a 45 degree angle to avoid supports as much as possible except on the very ends which make the support areas not very visible when closed. The hinge pins will likely need some fine tuning and the cover pin is still fairly fragile and I've only gotten it to print once with this matte black filament. It's probably not worth trying to save and if it breaks off just smooth that part off and should still visually function.

I think this could look pretty good with a light primer to smooth it out more. I printed with a .4 nozzle and .16 layer height. You'll want to print slow, I have it set to 35mms in the 3mf to keep the speed somewhat consistent for the matte finish. If you're not printing matte you could get away with ramping it up.

Do try the 3mf first, it should be pre-supported.
