Custom corner bracket for my Prusa printer enclosure door made from 2020 aluminium extrusion. There are some ribs to locate the bracket in the extrusion slot and there is space to glue in a 20x2mm neodymium magnet to hold the door closed.
My enclosure is made from 2020 extrusion and 3mm polycarbonate sheets. I needed a way to keep the front door closed and these brackets are recessed 3mm so that the polycarbonate (or Perspex/acrylic) sheets could sit flat with the frame.
A 20x2mm neodymium magnet is glued into the bracket with CA glue/superglue.
I drilled a small hole in the polycarbonate sheet and then screwed on a small door handle with the supplied M4 bolt. The held of the bolt touches the magnet and keeps the door closed. Recommend you use a flat-headed or countersunk head which will stick to the magnet better.
0.2mm or 0.3mm layer height seems to work well. Printed in Prusa PETG Orange to maintain the colour scheme, but other materials would be OK.
There's no need to print with supports as any messy overhang areas are hidden in the 2020 slot.
