I combined different models and added my modifications for the final stand that I personally like to use.
The Pillar can be printed without supports in 2 hours and 38 mins. I made it light because it'll be glued to the stand base. The Articulating Dragon is printed at ‘normal’ size the original model was designed for. On my I3 MK2.5s, I can print one at 120% and 130% size to fit my bed but I haven't tried printing this pillar/stand with the increased percentage.
The support rings are a tight fit so I wouldn't have to use glue. The middle/bottom ones are rotated to make the dragon sit the way I wanted it to.
I took the Solid pillar and added ‘cones’ at the top/bottom to get rid of the ring design.
I then added 5mm holes to spots that suited my liking aka for the head and the legs support.
I then took the hooks used, added my own 4.8mm stems with a 50mm length so the “C” hook would be at the proper protrusion. I didn't like any of the original rings that wrapped around the pole or the U shaped ones. I printed these with 80% infill in Clear PETG.
I then created a gap/hole in the Stand for gluing.
I also fixed the crown to make it ‘circular’.
I couldn't “export” the STLs due to not being able to export mesh designs with negative volumes, blah blah blah so I uploaded the .3mf file that contain the changes.
The author remixed this model.
