parts required 2x M3 35mm socket head screw (longer for wider wedding)
1x M3 washer (used with one of the screw, to clamp down the string)
approximate 150mm of string
My OnBelt Mk2 Camera Stabilizer didn't fit inside my camera bag; so I made this MOLLE Tube Clamp to attach it on the outside. You can also use this to attach any cylindrical tool (pen, torch, screwdriver, tabletop tripod, selfie stick …) to your MOLLE webbing.
This clamp is designed to use on my travel bag. I considered using toggle catch, but that will make it easy for thief to open. Also the toggle may accidentally open when knocked. Hopefully, I would be able to come up with a toggle catch design to overcome these two issues.
Made with thicker members to withstand knocks when mounted outside of the bag.
Printing Notes
For wider webbing, scale up the height of arm, top, bottom and the length of the tensions.
If you want to have the tensioner on the other side, you can mount the clamp upside down; or mirror all the pieces in the slicer.
For fine clamp diameter adjustment, you can use one of the looser tensioners. For even finer diameter adjustment, you can scale up the arm in the x and/or y direction.
