The idea starts from the assumption that every proud owner of a Prusa 3d Printer, sooner or later wants to modify it for his own personal use. LED, CAM, Switches, are some of the additions that each of us has already, or at least has thought, to make to their printer.
But the first question that comes to mind is, I think, "Where can I install my idea on the printer?"
That's why I redesigned the two X-end pieces to allow you to add the parts you want to have here.
And ... What is better than an idea?
Two ideas!
This project is the result of the union of two ideas.
The other idea is of Brent H @sneaks (Thing:3114849). Brent has created a beautiful articulated arm for his Raspberry Pi Camera. Great job Brend!
In the files I added my switch for the Bluetooth remote control, operated by moving the extruder, at the end of each layer, to the right. Gcode edit nedded. The remote control operates the camera of the mobile phone which then takes a picture of the object I am printing. So, once you have converted the photos into a video, you will have a beautiful time lapse of your creations.
Here you can see mine;)
