Here's some bench dogs with EPA foam tops that I made for my MFT/3 workbench.
I made these because my MFT/3 MDF top had sagged a little and as a result the cuts were not coming out square. I created these low profile dogs so that I could lay the work piece on the dogs which eliminated the off square cuts.
As a bonus, they protect the table top as they lift the work piece of the work surface. I've found them useful for also making rip cuts on my MFT and I don't have to worry about cutting the dogs as they're sacrificial.
I use 25mm x 5mm EVA self adhesive foam pads (https://www.bunnings.com.au/surface-gard-25mm-anti-skid-pads-16-pack_p3970383). They work nicely to hold the work piece when cutting.

Notes:
I printed with the pad side down. On my printer, I was able to easily bridge the recess where the foam pad sits.
