Babyproof powerstrip box with hook

I realise that this design is highly specific to our needs. But maybe it could help someone out nonetheless. 

You can screw in directly a powerstrip onto this box. For that I removed the original screws of the power strip and replaced it with longer ones to go through the box and the housing of the strip. You can then plug all your cords and close the lid with additional screws to ensure that the plugs will remain out of reach of tiny fingers. Finally, you can add the hood onto the box to hook it to other furtniture and hence keep it off the floor (easier to clean). The hook can be fixated with two pieces of filament that are slid through the holes on the side.
