This is a simple recreation of the guide clips included with an LED strip I wanted to install under a cabinet. You should be able to scale it for whatever cable you have, though I haven't tried.
This model came about because the USB plug is in an outlet at counter height, and the wire was constantly getting getting caught and pulled out of the provided guide. Eventually, the two sided tape couldn't handle the stress, and the whole clip started falling off.
The first version was a straight recreation, because I thought more clips would do the job. That might have been true, but I discovered that my double sided tape didn't like to stick to PLA, and so I added the screw tab.
Also, you can mirror the clip in your slicer and end up with better tension on the wire and a neater installation. The ‘in use’ cover photo is a mirrored clip - in the original configuration, if I tightened it too much the wire would just pop out.
Finally, I included a shot of how I print them; on end with a brim and no supports. It's messy, but an unsupported overhang is possible, and I just trim off the stray filaments. I've done supports, but for what this part needs to do and how unlikely it is to be seen, I don't feel like the extra time is well spent.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
