This model allows you to hang your headlamp as a lantern for your tent! It features a 4 part assembly, completely foldable to allow for the most compact and durable package to throw in your backpack. Fits all standard headlamp sizes.

How to Use:

  1. Unfold the device.
  2. Slide the bands of your headlamp into the slots in the main body, with the light towards the diffuser.
  3. Wrap the remainder of the band around the band hook (on the back), to stop it from disturbing the light (optional).
  4. Hang your light using the top hook and turn it on!

How to Print and Assemble:

  1. Printing files - all files are aligned to the correct printing orientation. you can print them all together or seperately for different colors (like I did). Either way, the light diffuser should be printed using a lighter color, for better results.
  2. Supports and Other Settings - unfortunately, the two bigger parts do need support, although the light diffuser doesn't necessarily, depends on your printer. I printed with a 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.16 mm layer height, using PLA.
  3. Assembly -
  1. There are four parts. The main body (top right), the light diffuser (left), the top hook (bottom center) and the band hook (bottom right).

2. Assembling the top hook -

Start by placing the first knob of the hinge in place (first picture), then, while making sure it doesn't get out, pop the second knob in place, it should get in with a click.

3. Assembling the band hook -

Just like the top hook, start by placing the first knob of the hinge in place (first picture), then, while making sure it doesn't get out, pop the second knob in place, it should get in with a click.

Make sure you're orienting it correctly to fit in its slot!

4. Assembling the light diffuser -

First, make sure you have the right orientation, so the the bottom of the diffuser points out of the assembly.

Then, similarly to the previous parts, start by placing the first knob of the hinge in place (second picture).

Afterwards, while making sure it doesn't get out, pop the second knob in place, it should get in with a click - this one's a little harder of a push, but it's not going anywhere!

That's it! Enjoy and please give me your feedback!
