Stackable and Storable Box / Shelf Book Storage

Remix of original Stackable Boxes/Shelves by Stigern 

I wanted to create a modular bookshelf for my dad's massive collection of books, including every Stephen King book there was, many of which were signed. The problem, is that he likely will be moving soon, meaning I had to make it easy to package up and move as well. 

I used the Storage solution created by Stigern and modified it to have a rear panel as well as slots so they could easily tip over and become boxes for moving. Both easily stacked and moved was a success.

Pictured above are 20% scale prototype models to show intent. Full sized models are in use by my dad and I did not get any pictures beforehand.
 

I used anywhere from 0.4mm to 1mm nozzle for these prints. If going below 50% size of original model, you will need to increase your detail or use a smaller nozzle to avoid the hemisphere slots from having fitment issues.

Print Settings:

Infill: Gyroid

Infill Percentage: 6%

Wall Count: 2

Added rear wall and slots to allow for easy conversion from shelf to storage unit.
