The Kar'ta Beskar, or Iron Heart in galactic basic, was a diamond shaped symbol used by the Mandalorian people for over 700 years before the Battle of Yavin. Since then, nearly every suit of Mandalorian armor has incorporated the symbol, usually on the center of the chest. This one has been made to be wearable as a necklace.
