Pixar Cars Garage

Kids have too many Pixar Cars and nowhere to put them? 

You have tried printing out one of the Hotwheel Garages on printables, but you can't find one that fits?

Well, look no further! (ok, maybe look a bit further, but you will be back!!!)

This is a simple honeycomb garage based off the idea I saw here  https://www.printables.com/model/309751-modular-hotwheels-hive-garage

but the dimensions are all wrong for pixar cars so I modeled a new one in onshape. (public model if you want to find it here https://cad.onshape.com/documents/2774c009f3f463af711f0bed/w/031e521ecd356ae8650990e7/e/947941255efd79dcdb77b721)

you can stack these a few ways of course and they are pretty tough and you can stack them 5 or so high no issues.
my plan is to wall mount them in a bit of a funky shape once they are all printed.

I printed on a anycubic kobra plus with octopi and cura slicer. I would not recommend you use my gcode unless you have the same printer.
most of my prints here are in PETG, but some are using some old PLA I had, and you can tell which are which as that PLA had not been used for a reason.
 

note that some of the really big Cars (too tall) will not fit in this, but there is only about 6 or so in the 100+ my kid has so I figured they could jus go on top and save me some filament.
