The QA CROWN phantom is made of PLA poly-lactic acid. Its dimensions are 110 mmx 110 mm x 110 mm, the arms are 10 mm thick, and it weighs 316 g. The time required to print the phantom on the Prusa iMK3S printer is about 24 hours.
The role of markers is played by spherical spaces with a radius of 3 mm filled with air (HU -900 - -800) located at the vertices of the cube and additionally at the points of intersection of the cube's diagonals and the diagonals of its walls. This arrangement makes it possible to determine the distances between points on both one and many different CT layers, depending on the orientation of the phantom relative to the CT scanner.
