I designed this model to tackle a very specific problem I encountered at school: Textbooks just won't stay open at the desired page. Sometimes, especially when copying drawings, you need both hands and then the book decides to show you it's other pages.

There are 2 Designs:

Basic: This is the basic Page Holder. It is designed for strength and ease of use.

Windowed: Since some books have text closer to the top, I designed this to make it possible to see the text under it without having to move or shuffle around with it. Weaker than Basic.

Printing

  • Print with flat side down
  • 15% infill (Honeycomb recommended)
  • No brim
  • Supports are needed for the windowed version (Tree recommended). Basic doesn't need supports
  • Any layer height is fine (I used 0.2 mm)

If you can print with transparent filament, do it. I'm sure the outcome will be wonderful.

How to use

Slide the Page Holder over the thickest side of pages. then slide to the middle. Recommended to use two, one at the top and one at the bottom.
