I designed this cable organizer to solve the problem of cables cris-crossing all over the floor, posing a trip hazard and easily getting pinched between closet doors and whatnot. It is customizable to create an close, compact match to the plug and cable diameters one desires, automatically embossing a text to indicate which cable goes where.

Printing instructions

Tested with Prusa MK3S+, using Prusament Orange PETG, 4 perimeters, 20% cubic infill, ~0.3 layer height. Smaller nozzle size may improve text legibility with stock settings, but will also increase print time significantly. The provided settings created a very strong physical structure, which should survive mounting with a double-sided mounting tape.

The provided STL files were flipped to their backside on plating to facilitate an easier printing process; they may print as is with supports, but this hasn't been tested. Expect around 5 hours for printing with the suggested settings for the laptop model.

NOTE: You will need an installed copy of Belfry's OpenSCAD library to use the OpenSCAD file; the STL files should print without any dependencies
