Aoraki / Mt. Cook - New Zealand

Hey all. Here is my 3D model of Mt. Cook in New Zealand, our highest peak at 3724m and located in the Southern Alps.

I printed mine at a 0.12 layer height with different coloured filament to show the elevation differences, gray paint was used to highlight the various glaciers (Fox, Hooker, Tasman etc.) around the mountain itself. 

Data was exported from the 8m LINZ elevation dataset as a GEOTIFF, then imported and merged as a raster using QGIS and then finally exported and simplified as an STL using Meshlab.
