Differences of the remix compared to the original
I liked the original design, a holder to fit the handle rather than a ‘shelf’ design. But I wanted to make a couple of changes. First, I didn't like the sharp edges rubbing on my rubberized grips… so I rounded them off. Second, I removed the extra material because I felt the extra support wasn't necessary (added a couple of extra walls during printing). Third, I wanted to add a small ‘stop’ making the saw was less likely to slide off… so I added a slightly recessed slot on top for the tool to rest inside. Everything feels very secure.
