Recommended print settings:

  • PETG or anything what survives outdoor sun with some reasonable strength
  • 3 perimeters with 0.4 nozzle, 2 with 0.6 nozzle
  • Top/bottom layers doesn't really matter, I have 5 and 4.
  • 0.2mm layer height is just fine
  • PrusaSlicer's Structural profile with Input Shaping works just fine

Please note this is 2 part, print-in-place. Prusa Slicer complains about stability but it prints just fine because print will just gently touch other part on overhangs.

Prefered orientation is with pivot pin pointig up.

I uploaded it with prefered orientation and my print settings in 3mf.

Replacement procedure on Ikea PRESSA:

  1. Unclip broken pin from hanger
  2. Use pliers or just bit of force to remove broken pin from spring - we are going to use that spring
  3. With bit of force press spring into holes of new pin - be careful, holes are fairly tight and spring doesn't really want to go in because of perforation it has. But press it in nevertheless. Do not drill it bigger or it will jump out, it has to be tight.
  4. Click it back to hanger
  5. Enjoy your socks hanging on hanger again.
