The look of the MSA Millennium gas mask is lovely, but I don't like the empty ports on the side. I don't need big expensive filters or bulky replica ones, so I made these inlet covers for the aesthetic.
Both designed to print without supports, with a 0.6mm nozzle. I believe I made them so a 0.4mm nozzle will also work well. Print the “swirl can" ones with threads pointing up, and the “conic dome” threads on the build plate. The “swirl can” design has 2 parts for a CW and CCW inlet flow for aesthetic.
No supports
0.2mm layer height
Very forgiving
UPDATE:
I modified the Defense to include a version that's bayonet-style for the MSA Advantage. Untested, but should be okay. Prints with only support in the center inside, or very good bridging. Should work with 0.6 and 0.4mm nozzles.
