A puzzle invented by Stewart Coffin. Ten pieces form the basic alphabet. Six pieces can be assembled into a rhombic dodecahedron. Print ABCDEF, these six pieces form the classic Stewart Coffin puzzle: Garnet (#1). ACDEFG make Garnet #2 and ABCDEH make Garnet #3. Ten other piece combinations can also be assembled, see Cubism For Fun #125.
All pieces are made with an offset of 0.1 mm. The assembled rhombic dodecahedron has a face-to-face diameter of 6.4 cm.
Printing the pieces: Most pieces will have an edge resting against the bed. Even if supports are enabled, most slicers will not support this edge and it may be printed poorly. I like to force supports in the vicinity of these edges. This uses very little additional material and the pieces come out nicely.
