IMPORTANT NOTE: The “multicolor” stl files need to be painted in the software if used. If you are using a single color printer, you should use the “recessed” models for the central and outer gears.
August 29, 2024 Update: Increased depth of numbers on gear faces for recessed models.
This is my low-profile mechanical counter. Requires a tiny bit of super glue, but likely could just be snapped together into the little peg holes if you really want to be able to pop it back apart.
Print parts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (one of each).
Based on the mechanical concept of an odometer, but the mechanism laid flat in a low-profile counter. Very easy to assemble, and designed with a blank top so that anyone can feel free to remix the designs.
REMIX REQUEST: Please direct users back to this page to download the gears and numbers, and only upload your variations of the top and bottom faceplates. We love them likes and downloads :-)
