Remix of flioink's amazing samurai-inspired mask #2. Teeth and mask are now separate parts to enable multicolor printing:

  • Option 1: Print separate parts, then use some CA glue to put all pieces together.
  • Option 2: Print the “Assembly - Multicolor" using a multicolor printer.
  • Option 3: There's also the “Assembly - Monocolor" as a single, solid piece.

Printing:

  • I highly recommend using the Tree Supports for both face and teeth.
  • The face can be laid down on the plate, resting on its jaw and chin.
  • For the teeth, try to print it so that the contact point with the supports remains hidden in the final assembly and the layer lines remain perpendicular to the teeth.

*You can test your printer capabilities with my QuBenchy - 3D Printing Torture Test Cube:

For those wondering about the pictures, I'm using some braided cotton cord with a 5 mm diameter.

This is mask #1 of a series of three masks. You can check them out here:

Feedback is welcome. Cheers!

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I separated the print into different parts (mask, upper teeth, lower teeth) to enable multicolor printing without having an AMS or using paints. It requires CA glue.
