Large Shelf Bracket 1000+mm x 300mm x 25mm

I already saw a few cool looking shelf brackets but as none of them were made for larger shelfs like 300mm wide ones, I decided to make my own. There is a 8mm wide pocket around the edge of the bracket. You can easily fit a gold adhesive strip on to it.

Any shelf will do but the measurements I used refer to the Ikea Bergshult shelf 1200x300x25mm, as long as your shelf thickness does not exceed these measurements you will be fine:

The brackets are not designed nor tested to hold a lot of weight so keep that in mind. It is more a decorative Shelf and I use it to hold my Wifi Router and some plants.

Print: If your printer is big enough you can print the whole thing in one go and use the ASM file or you can print the 3 parts separately and glue them together afterwards. Use atleast 4 or preferably more perimeters and 25+% Infill. I also recommend using PETG for some flexibility otherwise you might brake the brackets when inserting the shelf from the side.

Mount: First align atleast 2, preferably 3 Brackets to the wall. After fixating the brackets to the wall you can slide in the shelf from the side. To make everything a bit more rigid the shelf has to be screwed on to the bracket from the 2 holes at the bottom of the bracket. At the end you can wrap around the gold strip to give it the finishing touch and to hide the screws.
