There I was looking forward to constructing my very own Easythreed K9 Max Ultra Pro Plus. When suddenly I realised I had ordered the wrong shape of motor.
The cheapest NEMA14 motors I found on AliExpress were these, (6BYG1204-A-6QHT), which of course do not have the same mounting holes as the regular square type. So instead of returning them I did what any self respecting 3D printing person would do, and changed up the model to fit this other type of stepper. Fortunately not too much change was needed, I did have to cut into the side rib so this will affect strength but I printed them with 6 walls and 50% infill so unless the motor melts I doubt anything will happen to them.
Big ups to Made with Layers (Thomas Sanladerer) for the original models (and the insane idea of doing something this stupid):
I actually like this printer because it's great travel size
I am planning to make more modifications, when I do I'll add them to this listing.
The author remixed this model.
Closed the regular NEMA 14 screw holes and made new mounting position for the other model of NEMA 14 stepper.
