Pey's design does not fit my drawers well and requires severe modifications to make them fit after printing. I had to saw more than 3mm off the back and sand around 1.5mm from the sides. I wanted to do quite a few drawers so this was a no-go for me.

I modified all four designs to reduce the dimensions while keeping it all centered. After a couple of iterations I found measurements that fit all of the drawers in my two units with no additional post processing required. All while maintaining a fit that does not allow for movement.

These designs have been tested to not only with different drawers and units, but also with different filaments and even two different well calibrated printers (Ender 3 and P1S)

For reference, my drawers are around 295x522mm, instead of the 297mm x 525mm of the original design.

Please, measure your drawers first and decide. Bear in mind there must be a bit of play to account for print tolerances and also drawer dimensions. Not all drawers measure the exact same, I found around ±1 mm of deviation between drawers.

Parts:

  1. GridFinityBase_ALEX_A_FML - Part A, Front and Middle Left (FML) Print 2x of these
  2. GridFinityBase_ALEX_B_FMR - Part B, Front and Middle Right (FMR) Print 2x of these
  3. GridFinityBase_ALEX_C_BL - Part C, Back Left (BL) Print 1x of these
  4. GridFinityBase_ALEX_D_BR - Part D, Back Right (BR) Print 1x of thse.

So, 4 models but 6 prints to fill a drawer. You need to print part A and B twice each.
