Early Math Manipulative Shapes

A set of math manipulative shapes for early learning of shape recognition, fractions (1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/6, 1/8), area, symmetry, and patterns.

Includes the more common hexagonal based math manipulative shapes (as found in commercially available shape sets), along with an expanded set of octagonal, rectangular, and triangular shapes.

The scale of the pieces is based on the distance between faces of the hexagon (the short diagonal) being 2 in. This results in a single piece "unit" being 1.155 in.
