Filament Spool Rack for Multiboard

Filament spool holder and wall mounted rack for Multiboard storage system. The rack has two ends, as well as ability to print multiple middle racks for additional support. The rack uses ½ inch by ½ inch angle moulding to support standard 1KG filament spools.

Filament Spool Rack Parts

Angle Moulding: ½ x ½ inch angle moulding that can be bought from your local hardware store. Cut it to your preferred length. Store links: Home Depot USA and Home Depot Canada
End Racks: Left Rack and Right Rack are required to hold two ends of the support.
Middle Rack (optional): Recommended every two feet for additional support. You can pass the middle rack thru the angle moulding before assembling the ends.

Print Instructions

Print the racks on its side for maximum strength. Prints settings are just recommendations.

Material: PLA, Matte-PLA or any high-strength PLA (ex: PLA-CF)
Print Settings: 5 Wall loops, 15% Adaptive Cubic Infill, 0.2 mm Layer Height with 0.4mm nozzle.
Support Enabled: Yes 
Brim Type: Outer and Inner with minimum 3mm width.

Additional Accessories

I highly recommend (if not require) using T-bolts or Folded-bolts to connect the system to the Multiboard tiles.
