I already designed a key holder that looks like a swiss pocket knife.
I am using it since several years now.
You can find that design here:

This time I wanted to integrate an Apple AirTag. The difficulty is to keep the design as small as possible, because I like to cary the keys in the pockets of my jeans.
You can see the result in the pictures.
Important is that the keys are on both ends and the keys from both sides are next to each other. You have to organise a bit to get the best distribution between both ends. Because both stacks will likely not be equal I also made two different “fillers”.
You can get the keys out by pushing through the indents of the covers. Over time you learn to do that with one hand.
For assembly you need two M3 screws. The length of the screws depends on the height of your key stacks. You need to tighten these screws so that there is a bit friction between the keys. Likely you have to cut them.
I also strongly recommend to use self locking nuts, so the friction will stay the same for a long time. Alternatively you can use Locktite (The type that you can still loosen afterwards...)
I printed the model in PETG with 0.15 mm layer and 15% infill.
As always, when you print this please give me feedback and post some pictures.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
