Glasses case / phone stand

This is a hard shell glasses case. It uses a piece of 1.75mm filament as the fulcrum in the hinge. There's a cam in the hinge that causes it to slightly lock at an angle so you can use it as a stand for your phone.

If you print the lid leaning back on the edge with the hinge you should be able to print this without any support. I've included a 3mf for use with a BambuLabs X1-carbon for use with a generic PLA-cf filament showing the orientation of both parts. Note that I have a slightly modified printer using a Polypropylene build plate. I use the stock high temp plate settings and have the location marker setting disabled.

Once you print the parts, you should ensure the holes in the hinge are clear and that the filament will thread through them. I lined mine with adhesive backed velvet and then assembled the two parts. there's a slight step in the inner rear wall on both parts near the hinge so you know where to cut the velvet lining off
