Magnetic Box Cutter Remix

This is a remix of DHP's Box Cutter Version 2 (Stanley Cutter) where you can also find the cutter bolt and cutter fixation. 

I added some slots for 15x5x3mm magnets I bought cheap on ali. 2 Magnets are sufficient to hold it on a metal wall or ceiling. I also increased the brim a bit to prevent warping issues.

Print List

• 1x cutter body
• 1x cutter bolt
• 1x cutter fixation

Print Settings:

You need to pause the print at layer 18. Ensure you did set the global or plate print sequence to “by layer”, otherwise the Pause option will not be available. Then slice it and move to the preview. Select layer 18 and click the right mouse button and select “Add Pause”. You will also see after what time your printer will reach layer 18 so you can estimate when your printer needs attention.

Assembly:

Handle the blade with care!

Screw the cutter bolt thru the cutter fixation. Then put the cutter bolt end thru the blade hole and insert the blade into the cutter body. Tighten or loosen the the cutter bolt to move or fasten the blade.
