The Whittle is a single man Starfighter designed to offer protection to the Galactic Navy and the Empire's outposts. It was designed by United Space Equipment Corporation in direct response to rumours of sabotage and piracy in the outer reaches of space, the incredibly lucrative contract awarded to USEC was on the understanding that the Whittle would be a generational spacecraft that would see service throughout the Empire for the next 40-50 years.
