SV08 Exhaust Filter-Stock and 120mm Fan

This is a HEPA Carbon filter Mod for the Sovol SV08.  This MOD fits on to the stock enclosure for the SV08 and uses the *Original Fan*.   The OEM Filter Sux, is paper thin, and well…..  Does Nothing.  I wanted to fix this and made a filter from the kind I already had on hand.

This Design can have a vertical or side exhaust Design with the Right Angle Adapter. Or you can remove the Right Angle Adapter and have the Filter go Straight out the back. 

However You will need about 12" or 305mm of clearance behind your machine to allow the air to vent and exhaust. 

*Note:

• You will need to add a connection extension or solder longer leads onto the stock fan connector wires to reach the fan.
• ABS/ASA, Nylon-CF, PETG-CF, Maybe PLA+  Recommended for Filament. PETG will not be strong enough over time and Temp
• 15-25% Infill Used 
• 4 Walls, Top, & Bottom  
• Only the Right Angle Adapter needs supports

ASSEMBLY

1.)

• M4 x 12mm SHCS (4ea) Mount into the Sovol SV08 Exhaust Port Threads

2.)

• M4 x 12mm SHCS (4ea) Go through the Inner Mount and Bolt into the *Right angle adapter*
  • *The Right angle adapter Can be Deleted and the Inner and Outer mount can be installed directly onto the Enclosure
  • * You will need about 12in or 31cm of Clearance behind your machine 
• M4 Heat Set Inserts (4ea) Installed into the Right Angle Adapter

3.)

• M3 x 12mm SHCS (4ea) Mount the Outer Shell to the Inner Mount
• M3 Heat inserts (4ea) go into the Inner Mount

4.)

• M4 x 30mm SHCS (4ea) mount the fan to the Outer Shell
  • No Heat Set Inserts. Thread Directly into the Plastic. Be Careful not to overtighten
