I'm a big fan of using the V-Spooler, but I use filament from various manufacturers. Although I've tried several adapters that others have shared, I wanted something a bit different. Drawing inspiration from those designs, I created a spool spindle that accepts different cores to match the spools I have.
These cores feature both left- and right-hand threads. I've included a template of the thread I used so you can create your own cores. From my initial idea, I’ve made six spool cores that you might find useful. Each spool core is labeled with the manufacturer’s name, core size, and a designation for the left-hand threads. I also printed the cores in different colors for quick identification—such as using Bambu Green for the Bambu core.
See file list for current cores if you would like me to add one please drop me a commnent.
If you print this, please drop me a note—I’d love to know how it works out for you.
