Hi there, this is my first ever design. It is a Savonius/helix wind turbine connected to a butterfly through a series of mechanical gears.

The advantage of the vertical turbine is that it does not need to face in the direction of the wind unlike horizontal ones. Once the turbine is powered, the gears will pump the butterfly's wings up and down.

Assembly:

Parts including the Turbine, Butterfly, and Gear bracket, and arms will require supports. All parts of been designed to snap together. Glue may be needed to certain areas, but if applied, be sure not to apply the glue on a joint. All of the joints should print out fine as they were given a gap thickness of at least .35mm.

P.S. I was unable to test print this as I am in the process of rebuilding my printer, at some point in the future I will look to refine this design :)
