I wanted a fidget toy and wasn't satisfied with the sloppiness of the existing models, so I recreated one in OpenSCAD and added optional magnet holes.

The STLs are examples for 3x4mm magnets or without holes, I've printed the shown examples in:

  • QIDI Tech ABS-GF25 (black)
    • mechanically perfect but not suitable for toys due to possible skin irritation unless you seal it
  • eSUN PLA+ (white)
    • feels nice but does not have the high rigidity of PLA
  • AMOLEN Silk PLA (RGB)
    • looks and feels great but does not bridge well

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Recreated in OpenSCAD, added optional magnet holes and made X/Y/Z tolerances individually adjustable.
