This wasp trap is made up of a perforated cone fixed to the original cap (any type of pet bottle cap) without having to design one for each type of thread on the market.
Model 1:
After printing the cone, pierce the original cap, making a hole of about 12 mm (cutting with scissors, even if irregular, will fit perfectly). A groove has been made in the cone into which the cap will be inserted.
There are holes at the top for hanging the entire trap using a thin rope. A small umbrella (recycling a small PET bottle) was attached to the same rope to protect the trap from the rain.
Model 2:
This model was created with an integrated protective umbrella and also has a quicker cap attachment system.

The bait for wasps and hornets is usually a sweet and sour substance that can be prepared at home, for example by mixing water, vinegar and sugar, a simple mixture that recalls the flavor of ripe fruit. Another very effective food bait suitable for the Tap Trap wasp trap is simple beer.
