Description

PDF

This is a pencil holder with 3 compartments that is to be printed in vase mode. The compartments are almost fully closed, and office size paraphernalia should not move from one container to another.  That is right, three compartments of different heights are made using a single line of extrusion ! Download and slice the model to find out the trick used to make it work ;)

Source file are available on onshape.com, see about_pencil_holder.txt for more information.

Printing

This model should be printed in vase mode with a external wall width of 0.6mm (you can use your 0.4mm nozzle!). The orientation of the model is important, if you see hanging lines as in picture below, rotate the model along the Z axis until they all disappear.

The .3mf file has both of those specifications already implemented. I printed it with Prusament Ultramarine Blue PETG, but any other filament type will work as well.
