A nice 50mm diameter (inner) pot, 40mm deep. With easy scoop bottom to make removing small items simple. No tight corners to get items stuck in.
It's a 3D printed part, so no promises of watertight, but the lid screws down tighter than you would like to get off, so it should be fairly close. Ideal for anything you want to keep dry or together. Like coins from different countries, or items the kids are collecting.
The nice things about this design, is the inside is smooth all the way up, after the easy scoop bottom. Which makes it easy to tip things out and to clean as needed.
Use your normal print settings. Nothing special here. The tolerances are fairly good, so you shouldn't have much trouble with the lid fitting. Twist on and off a couple of times to clean up the threads and you should be good to go.
Think about where you want the seams on the print. I went for a single line at the back and random through the threads, I don't know if this is the best option.
If you print with the open ends up, there is no need for support. it just prints fine.
I have made several of these with PLA, but I expect it to work with any filament.
Use PETG if you plan to use it with creams or damp things.
Feel free to scale as necessary. Write names on the lid and print with that on the bed for best results. I used the textured bed for the sparkle look, but the smooth or statin should work fine too.
If you like the design, even if you don't want to make it, please give it a like. If you do make it, upload your make for some points towards filament.
