This is something I've been working on, and have used, for quite some time. I wanted to create a whole-enchilada approach to a QRP EFHW antenna that allows me to not have to take anything apart. With this design all that is needed is to unwrap the wire and plug in coax. 

Two models are available, one with 2 mil holes that are sized for 28 AWG wire and the other with 3 mil holes that are sized for 24 AWG wire. It's possible that larger sized wire will fit through the respective holes, but these are the sizes that I have seen work. Drop a comment for the sizes you've used for more data points.

I have employed this by using the velcro wrap that holds the wire to attach the 49:1 to bushes, trees, signs, etc.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

My modification of Adams design was to implement a series of through holes to facilitate BNC bulk heads, toroid mounting locations, as well as strain relief for the magnet wire and antenna wire. The overall dimensions and shape remain unchanged.
