This adapter should be able to mount the BigTreeTech Eddy to the opposite site of the original probe.
Currently it is still work in progress.
Maybe you will be able to mount it with the original hood that should be modified. (Don't do that while wip)
You will need 2 melt thread insert m3
Housing
( V0.01 not stiff enough, V0.02 board and fan to close, V0.03, V0.04 (Nox), V1 )
V1 changes:
* Stiff housing that should not bend
* liftet Eddy mount, needs 2 melt thread inserts m3 keep Eddy where it used to be. Had issues on higher speeds with bending on the last models.
* Magnet holes do cover bigger and longer magnets. I was even able after adding some small disk magnets to fix the magnet heights on the base to have a not shaking housing. The first time on that printer and i tried a lot of other models that i found.
* Changed fan duck to a less high version, as the eddy could easily fit with it on the same level and was hard inspired by the air guidance of this model, so credits to him https://www.printables.com/model/918971-sovol-sv08-minimal-toolhead-cover It seemed to me an optimal air flow with enough room for the original probe, but needed to be adopted to have clearance for the eddy.
I will run multiple prints with it and if it meets everything i wanted to cover this won't be wip
Offsets are shown in the images. Cad files and config setting will follow.
In cad measured offsets z-offset 4.681 x-offset - 29.355, keep in mind that the z-offset only is correct when it sits correctly, so keep an eye on that and take it as rough aim.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
