This mod was made to make minimal changes to the blaster so it can be reverted back to stock functionality. There is some minor shell cutting that will be needed to allow for the new placement of the rev switch.

I will start with the assumption you have your blaster opened up. If you need a disassembly guide, then check out this great video by ASliceofNerfPizza.

Start by glueing the rev plate pegs to the rev plate. Should look like this once done. The pegs should fit snug but you should not have to force them through. If the fit is to tight you can use a needle file to widen the holes until you have the proper fit.
Remove the screw holding the rev switch in place. Then pull out the rev switch and unhook the wires from the orange plastic holding them in place. I put the screw back in the post so I don't misplace it.
Slide the rev plate in over the flywheel post. The right side will fit over the top and bottom of the pusher switch to help hold it in place. Then tuck the extra wire under the rev plate and place the rev switch on the rev plate pegs.
Next you want to glue the trigger rev spacer to the trigger arm. Then file it to be smooth with the top of the rev trigger arm. Once you have the rev trigger arm back in place you can push up on it to make sure you hear the rev switch click before the pusher switch. If you find your rev switch is getting stuck you will want to come back and sand this for adjustment.
Now onto the shell that was removed. Remove all the parts except the safety switch.
You can now make the cut modifications to these parts. You can view the before and after in the images.
You will also have to remove this post as this goes through the new location of the rev switch. This will make it so the dark grey piece that is screwed to this will not be held in on that side. With the rev switch in its new location it will hold it in place. You can also use a little glue to hold it in as well.
Place the new safety arm and then screw back in the modified parts.
You can assemble everything back together except for the grip lever. You can slide the grip spacer onto the grip lever. Then you can install the grip lever back onto the handle. This spacer will hold the grip lever in the closed position instead moving back and forth like it normally would.
I have run into an issue where the pusher arm does not retract fast enough because of friction between the rev trigger and the darts being pushed up in the venom pro mags for the first or second dart. This results in the pusher continually revving but no darts are being fired. Adding some lube to the top of the pusher seemed to clear up the issue.
If you have any issues, questions or comment, post a comment or send me a direct message and I will get back to you.
