Once you have all the parts printed, the instructions to build this set can be found at LetsBuildItAgain.com here.

For those with Bambu printers, there's  Bambu project file located in the “Bambu 3mf Files” folder to simplify things even further.  These files contain the parts in an ideal orientation for printing.  Some of the parts would benefit from being cut in the slicer before printing.  Those modifications are included in these files as well. Note that you will need BambuStudio to open or work with these files.

All the parts needed to build this set were taken from thal72's Printables profile and scaled to 500%. He has a massive library of brick parts available at this location.  If you wish to do any additional customization to this set, this is a fantastic resource to find additional parts.  Special thanks to him as well for sharing this work!

A couple more things to point out for those wishing to build this set:

  • The wheels for this set have been cut in half so they could be inserted and glued into the tires (from the front and back). Then these could be attached & glued to the axle after the axle is inserted into the wheel base.  (We followed the same approach used by maandren for his moon buggy.  Special thanks to him for sharing this work!)
  • All parts (including the tires) were printed in PLA.  It may be possible to print the tires in TPU instead to give them more of a rubber-like feel, but we haven't tried that so we can't say for certain.
  • The  parts to make the red Classic Space mini-fig shown in the pictures can be found in our Classic Space Mini-figures design located here.

If you decide to print this, we'd love to see it.  Please post pics of your makes, and please consider liking this design by clicking the "like" link above.

Happy Building!!
