Printing Instructions

  • 100% infill required
  • Material with heat deflection temperature of 100c or higher required
    (Can be ABS, ASA, nylon, polycarbonite, etc)
  • Usage of organic or disolvable support material is required
  • Layer height of 0.05-0.1 is recomended

Post Processing:

  • Patience is required when removing the support material, the walls on the ducts are very thin
  • Clean up any burrs and imperfections (check the 3d files for reference)
  • Ensure the 5015 fan fits, do not force it in. (use files to remove material to fit)

Installation:

  • Attach the duct loosley to the extruder motor with 4 appropiatly sized m3 screws
  • Have the nozzle of the machine touch the build plate and adjust the hight of the duct reletive to the extruder motor. There should be a 0.5-2 mm distance from the bed from the duct.
  • Tighten the screws holding the duct on
  • Install the 5015 fan with m3 screws and nuts
  • Optional: Install probe of your choice with m3 screws

Notes:

  • Cr-touch may be better than the BL-touch due to having an optical switch than a hall sensor. (better acuracy) 
  • Cad files included to allow modification and improvement
